What an All-Inclusive Elopement Should Include

A couple exchanges vows on a beach at sunset, holding hands, with an officiant in the center. The ocean and sky create a serene backdrop. All inclusive, simple elopement.

At its core, an all-inclusive elopement package is meant to do one thing:

👉 Take the stress off your plate so you can actually enjoy your wedding experience

But here’s where things vary a lot between photographers and companies.

1. Planning + Guidance (This is the big one)

This is where the real value is—and where most people don’t realize they need help.

A true all-inclusive experience should include:

  • Location scouting based on your vision

  • Help choosing the right destination (not just a pretty one)

  • Timeline planning based on lighting + experience

  • Permit guidance (if needed)

  • Marriage license info based on location

  • Vendor recommendations (hair, makeup, florals, etc.)

Because here’s the truth:

👉 Google can give you locations.

👉 Pinterest can give you inspiration.

But neither of those can tell you:

  • where the light actually hits best

  • what time you should start

  • how to avoid crowds

  • or how to make the day feel intentional instead of rushed

2. Photography (and ideally, more than just photos)

Most packages include photography—but not all photography is created equal.

A strong elopement package should give you:

  • Full storytelling coverage options

  • Guidance throughout the day so you’re never wondering what to do

  • A balance of candid + lightly directed moments

  • A gallery that actually reflects how the day felt

And increasingly…

👉 Many couples are also choosing to include video

Because photos freeze a moment—but video brings it back to life in a completely different way.

3. Timeline Creation That Feels Like an Experience (Not a Schedule)

This is something most couples don’t think about… until it’s too late.

A good timeline isn’t just:

  • “ceremony at 5”

  • “photos at 6”

It’s designed around:

  • light (sunrise vs sunset)

  • pacing (so you’re not rushed)

  • space to actually enjoy what you planned

This is what turns your elopement from:👉 “a quick ceremony + photos”

into:👉 a full, intentional experience you’ll actually remember

4. Vendor Coordination (Without You Managing Everyone)

Even for an elopement, you may still have:

  • hair + makeup

  • florals

  • officiant

  • dinner setup or cake

An all-inclusive package should guide you here—not leave you to figure it out alone.

Because the last thing you want is:👉 juggling emails and logistics the week of your wedding

6. Officiant Services (or Help Finding the Right One)

This is something a lot of couples don’t think about at first… until they realize:

👉 Someone actually has to legally marry you.

Depending on where you’re eloping, this can look different:

  • Some locations allow self-solemnization (you can marry yourselves)

  • Some require a licensed officiant

  • Some have very specific legal requirements

A truly all-inclusive experience should either:

  • include officiant services, or

  • guide you in finding someone who aligns with your vision

Because the ceremony itself shouldn’t feel like an afterthought.

It should feel:

  • intentional

  • personal

  • and actually reflective of your relationship

Whether that’s something short and simple or something more meaningful and customized, having the right person leading that moment makes a huge difference in how the day feels.

7. A Slower, More Intentional Experience

This is where the best packages really stand out.

Some photographers (myself included) design elopements to go beyond just one rushed day.

This can include:

  • multi-day coverage

  • a separate adventure or excursion session

  • exploring a second location without timeline pressure

And honestly?

👉 This is where the magic usually happens.

Because when you’re not rushing from one moment to the next, you actually get to be present, take it in, and create something that feels completely different from a traditional wedding.

So… Are All-Inclusive Elopement Packages Worth It?

Short answer?

👉 Yes— if they’re done right.

But here’s the honest version:

They’re not worth it if:

  • it’s just a bundle of vendors with no guidance

  • you’re still doing all the planning yourself

  • the experience feels rushed or transactional

They are worth it if:

  • you want someone to guide the entire process

  • you care about how the day feels, not just how it looks

  • you don’t want to spend months figuring everything out alone

Because what you’re really investing in isn’t just:👉 photos👉 or a location

It’s: ✨ a seamless experience✨ intentional planning✨ and a day that actually feels like you

The Part No One Really Talks About

Most couples don’t regret what they planned.

They regret:

  • how rushed it felt

  • how stressed they were leading up to it

  • or wishing they had more guidance

And that’s exactly what a good all-inclusive experience is designed to prevent.

If You’re Looking for Something Like This…

I don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” packages.

But I do offer a fully guided elopement experience where:

  • I help you choose the right location

  • I build your timeline around the best light + flow

  • I guide you through vendors, logistics, and planning

  • and your story is captured through both photo + video

So instead of feeling like you’re piecing everything together…

👉 you actually get to enjoy the process—and the day itself
